The audience at the training was quite diverse and it included staff members of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Azerbaijan (ASK), members of ASK management board, representatives of the ASK member associations, representatives of non-members and potential member associations.
The training was organized as part of the implementation of the ASK strategic plan, namely its objective to build the internal capacity of ASK in order to achieve more efficient work of the organization. The participation of potential member associations contributed to achieving another objective of the strategic plan: to broaden the ASK membership base
The training has generated a lot of interest of the participants, who were asking questions and giving their comments. The mixed composition of the audience was an asset since it provided a multitude of views and aspects therein.
A separate training session was organized for the board members of ASK. I was based on the specialized online course developed by the ITC ACTEMP unit. The objective of the session was to ensure stronger commitment and support to the ASK from its board members. This training session has also evoked much interest, and some participants stayed for a lengthy after-session consultations.
The next activity in the implementation of the ASK strategic plan will be the revision and streamlining of the ASK internal processes and structures.
