Tajikistan launches new web site on social policy reform and protection of the rights of children.
On April 17, a new web site on Tajikistan’s social policy reform and protection of children’s rights was presented in the Labour and Social Protection Ministry in Dushanbe. The site was developed by the scientific research institute for labour and social protection of population in cooperation with the national commission for children’s rights and under technical assistance of Tajikistan’s government and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The site contains the latest information about steps and measures Tajikistan takes in the social field. It includes international documents on protection of children’s rights (documents of the International Labour Organization, the International Migration Organization, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, etc.)
Visitors can find here the republic’s legislation, information on the government’s social development activities, including the implementation of normative legal acts, and on the work of the national commission on the protection of children’s rights and regional departments for children’s rights.
The social work section contains updated information about educational workshops and advanced training courses for social workers as well as training materials.
The site reflects the implementation of social programs of international and local non-governmental organizations’ in Tajikistan.
Taking part in the presentation were officials of Tajikistan’s relevant ministries and departments, representatives of international organizations’.
