Sustainable Development Goals 8 (SDG 8) National Framework Indicators in Seychelles

The main objective of the workshop is to assess the availability and reliability of data related to the Sustainable Development Goals

(SDGs) labour market indicators under ILO custodianship. At the end of the two-day workshop, the following outcomes were achieved:
  1. Awareness on SDG 8 as key driver for the implementation of all 17 SDGs is created;
  2. National SDG 8 Framework Indicators is developed;
  3. National Factsheet model for SDG 8 to be produced and disseminated bi-annually & annually is developed;
  4. List of Decent Work Indicators relevant for Seychelles is established;
  5. Model of factsheet on Decent Work Indicators which the MEICS will produce and disseminate quarterly is developed;
  6. Recommendations for the implementation and monitoring of the SDG8 are formulated.
