Strategic compliance planning for labour inspectorates in Tunisia
A workshop in Hammamet brought together labour inspection officials in Tunisia to discuss strategic planning for compliance and occupational safety and health.

HAMMAMET (ILO News) - Labour inspection officials in Tunisia participated in a workshop on strategic planning of labour inspection for improved regulatory compliance, held in Hammamet from 3 to 5 December 2025.
Organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the workshop focused on integrating ILO principles and guidelines into inspection planning and on Tunisia’s experience through its National Labour Inspection Plan.
Over three days, participants also worked in groups to develop a pilot strategic plan targeting priority sectors, key areas of non-compliance and concrete actions.
The discussions incorporated an approach that takes into account gender, young people, disability, informal work and migration in labour inspection interventions.
