SOUSSE (ILO News) - Labour inspectors from central Tunisia participated in a workshop on strategic planning of labour inspection for improved regulatory compliance, held in Sousse on 12 and 13 February 2026.

Organized as part of the project “Promoting Occupational Safety and Health in Southern Neighbourhood Countries – Phase 2”, the workshop focused on a more targeted and proactive approach to labour inspection.

Discussions covered the planning of inspection activities, prioritization of sectors at risk, support for enterprises towards compliance and, where necessary, the exercise of labour inspectors’ enforcement powers.
