Seminar “End Child Labour in Supply Chains – it’s everyone’s business”
On 6 June 2016, a training seminar on the topic “End Child Labour in Supply Chains – it’s everyone’s business” was held in Khujand, Tajikistan. It was organized by the ILO-IPEC in Tajikistan, executive bodies of Sughd region and the International Agricultural Producers Association. The trainers were Irina Shasnovich, National consultant on child labour issues, and Muhayo Khosabekova, ILO-IPEC National Project Coordinator in Tajikistan.

At the end of the training, the participants completed the evaluation questionnaires. In particular they stated that they have learned how define facts of child labour, have increased their knowledge about international and national legal documents on child labour, and understood how children get into supply chains. They proposed to work more actively on child labour in the supply chains in agriculture, also by working with employers on a regional level.
