La Paz - On February 23rd, CEPB, its Corporate Social Responsiility Unit (URSE) together with the Global Compact and the ILO SCORE Project in Bolivia, organized an event to promote the new SCORE Training module, SCORE4Climate, among key stakeholders.

Relive the event here:

This module is scheduled to kick off its initial pilot phase in March with a virtual training workshop for Bolivian SMEs, aimed at identifying strategies that target different areas of an SME to reduce environmental pollution and improve productivity and resource efficiency through reusing and recycling. The module also encourages measures to optimize productivity of energy inputs through renewable options, alongside promoting decent working conditions.

“We have been very successful with SCORE Training and we are convinced that this new module will help companies to implement a circular economy in their business models”

Lucía Sossa, director of Global Compact Bolivia at Confederación de Empresarios Privados de Bolivia

The SCORE4Climate module will be implemented over 3 months of training and addresses 8 key topics on circular economy (listed below). The content is based on a Business and Governance Model that contributes to the 2030 Agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals for a better and more inclusive world, particularly SDGs 8, 12 and 13, where SMEs seek to improve working conditions for their workers and to enact better processes, contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
