SADA Women’s Cooperative at Antalya Festival of Women’s Cooperatives
SADA Women’s Cooperative supported under the Project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls” being implemented by UN Women with ILO and ASAM as implementing partners participated in the 2nd Festival of Women’s Cooperatives organised by Antalya Muratpaşa Municipality.

The festival held on 26-30 June 2019 at Muratpaşa Town Square featured 50 women’s cooperatives which displayed their products. SADA Women’s Cooperative showcased its products mostly including textiles such as beach bags, cloth bags, makeup bags, table cloths, and bedlinens; and other cooperatives also displayed and sold their products.
Women partners of SADA Women’s Cooperative had also opportunities to meet with the members of other women’s cooperatives and introduce own entities to others; and participated in a two-day workshop organised by Muratpaşa Municipality. The workshop served as an excellent opportunity to discuss the importance, working areas and problems of women’s cooperatives, and have conversations on marketing and e-trade with specialist organisations.
Members of SADA Women’s Cooperative were presented plaques by Antalya Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal; and concluded the festival in joy and solidarity with fellow members of other women’s cooperatives.
