Youth employment pacts are mechanisms for coordinating actions of the interested parties such as regional administrations, social partners, private sector and non-governmental organisations. The pacts are targeted at promoting youth employment and supporting initiatives of decent work for young people, the press service of the Perm Territory governor’s administration said.
The first step in this direction will be assessment of the Perm Territory’s economic and social situation that will be conducted by the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. This analysis will be a starting point to develop a youth employment pact in the region.
