Rosstat: unemployment remains at 4.9% in June
The unemployment rate in Russia equaled 4.9% in June, remaining flat against May, data of the Federal Statistics Service showed. As a whole, joblessness equaled 5% in 2Q.

The economically active population amounted to 75.6 mln in June (around 53% of the aggregate population of Russia). Also, 71.9 mln of this number were classified as employed and 3.7 mln as unemployed (under the ILO methodology).
