Promoting gender equality and work life balance in the Labour Market in Portugal

The International Labour Organisation, the European Commission, the Directorate-General for Employment and Labour Relations and the Portuguese Commission for Equality in Labour and Employmentmet met on July 8 at the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, in Lisbon, for a kick-off of the project designed to analyse and improve the effectiveness of policies for gender equality and work life balance in the labour market in Portugal.

The meeting included a discussion session with the Portuguese social partners.
