Optimizing joint learning through a harmonized and participatory monitoring and evaluation system that paves a way for learning and scaling up evidence

ProAgro project set up M&E system and nominated M&E focal persons from pertinent federal and regional institutions for communicating respective results and garner evidence and learning from implementation. As part of capacitating the working constituents, a technical workshop was convened from 24 - 25 August 2022, to orient these key federal and regional M&E focal points with the overarching M&E frameworks and reviewing ProAgro progress tracking systems and toolsets in a participatory manner.

Focal persons have participated from Federal Confederation of Ethiopian Employers Trade Unions (CEETU), Sidama region Regional Jobs, Skill and Enterprise Development (BOJSED), Regional Investment Commissions and Bureau of Trade and Industry. From Amhara region, Regional Bureau of Labour and Training (BoLT), Bureau of Industry and Investment (BoII) and CEETU, have participated in the workshop.

Stakeholders have reflected on the M&E framework and toolsets and valuable inputs were garnered for the refinement of progress tracking tools. Beyond serving the respective institution`s capturing and communicating results, this was crucial session for stepping in capturing Decent Work initiatives and ensuring stakeholder’s ownership and joint learning.
