Official unemployment in Azerbaijan decreased by 0.24%

State Statistics Committee released data on unemployment in Azerbaijan, which is on the methodology of the International Labor Organization was in the beginning of 2012 to 5.73% of employed population.

According to State Statistics Committee, in early January in Azerbaijan there are 250.9 thousand unemployed.

This is 7.4 million or 0.24% points less than at the end of 2010.

On 1st January 2012 employed population is Azerbaijan was 4375.2 thousand persons, or 46.1 thousand more than the year before.
