Mozambique ratifies the Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 2006 (No. 187)
Mozambique has now ratified all fundamental standards.

GENEVA (ILO News) - On Tuesday 9 June 2026, H.E. Ms Ivete Ferrao Alane, Minister of Labour, Gender and Social Affairs of Mozambique, presented the instrument of ratification of the Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 2006 (No. 187) to the ILO Director-General, Mr. Gilbert Houngbo.
With this milestone ratification, Mozambique has now ratified all fundamental standards, once again affirming its strong commitment to the fundamental principles and rights at work, including the right to a safe and healthy working environment. Mozambique is the 76th country to ratify Convention No. 187.
