Meeting of Tajikistan’s Tripartite Working Group

The Tripartite Working Group includes representatives of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of Population, social partners, specialists of the republic’s vocational education system and the ILO.

The meeting saw a presentation of the ILO project covering five countries – Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Jordan and Vietnam.

Participants in the meeting also considered other events implemented in Tajikistan. In particular, they considered preliminary results of the survey assessing demands of the national vocational education system with a special focus on key sectors of the economy – energy, transport and agriculture that had been carried out by the president’s Strategic Research Centre.

The project’s development objective is to strengthen skills development systems which improve employability, promote access to employment opportunities and increase incomes for inclusive and sustainable growth.
