Lucero Ascarza exposes the search for justice following the death of two young victims of modern slavery

In this report, published in La Encerrona, Lucero Ascarza highlights the obstacles faced by the families of Luis Huamán and Jovi Herrera in their pursuit of justice. Both young men died in a fire in 2017 while working under modern slavery conditions at the former Galería Nicolini in Las Malvinas.
Despite the convictions handed down to those responsible for human trafficking and negligence, the judicial process and economic reparations remain uncertain.
