Labour inspectors exchange practices on construction inspection techniques

A workshop in Algiers brought together labour inspectors to exchange practices and techniques for monitoring occupational safety and health in the construction sector.

ALGIERS (ILO News) - Labour inspectors participated in a workshop on inspection techniques in the building and public works sector, held in Algiers from 17 to 19 November in collaboration with the General Labour Inspectorate.

Over three days, participants exchanged practices, explored new approaches and examined occupational safety and health (OSH) inspection tools and techniques in the construction sector.

The training combined theoretical and practical learning, including a field visit to a public works company to analyse risks and prevention measures.
