Kyrgyz Employers’ Organizations Promote Enabling Environment for Business

The meeting was facilitated by the ILO. The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Understanding, in which the Employers’ Organizations committed to promote the National EESE Report and to launch an advocacy campaign aimed at policy improvements for an enabling environment for business in the country.

For the last one and a half years, the ILO has intensively worked on promoting EESE among the employers’ organizations. The signed Memorandum has come as a major success of ILO efforts to form synergies among the Employers’ Organizations, and to foster partnership and cooperation on EESE.

The three Employers’ Organizations that have signed the MoU are the National Confederation of Employers of Kyrgyz Republic, the Business Association (JIA), and the National Alliance of Business Association (NABA).

The event was organised by the ILO project «From the Crisis towards Decent and Safe Jobs», Phase II, supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
