Kazakhstan should aim to join top developed countries - leader
Kazakhstan needs to achieve a 60,000-dollar per capita mark, in order to join the list of 30 top developed countries, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said.

"According to expert assessments, in order to be in the group of 30, Kazakhstan needs to have as minimum as 60,000 dollars per capita. So that this level should be ensured, stable growth of the economy should be maintained," he said at a forum, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Bolashak [Future] international presidential scholarship [founded by President Nazarbayev in 1993] today in Astana.
As he puts it, Kazakhstan will achieve the mark of GDP in real terms in 20,000 dollars per capita in 2015-16.
