Kazakhstan ratifies trade agreements within Customs Union

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed into law the bill "On the ratification of the agreement on the use of information technology in the exchange of electronic documents in foreign and mutual trade within the common customs area of the Customs Union".
This agreement regulates relations arising in the process of drafting, sending, transmitting, receiving, storage and use of electronic documents by the member states of the Customs Union, as well as by individuals and legal entities, while they use information technology for the exchange of electronic documents in foreign and mutual trade within the common customs area.
Today the head of state also signed into law the bill "On ratification of the agreement on the establishment, operation! and development of an integrated information system of foreign and mutual trade within the Customs Union".
Earlier, MPs noted that this agreement will improve the quality of customs, tax, transport and other forms of state control, by using information communications technologies. Moreover, this agreement will ensure the efficient regulation of foreign and mutual trade within the customs area and promote creating favourable conditions for economic entities.
