Kazakhstan employers build a new generation of workplace trainers
Paryz Education, the training arm of Kazakhstan's employers' organisation, is expanding its capacity to deliver professional training for enterprises through certified trainers, digital learning and occupational safety and health services.

Almaty, Kazakhstan (ILO News) – Kazakhstan's employers' organisation has taken another step towards becoming a leading provider of professional training for businesses, with 25 Paryz Education trainers and staff completing an advanced digital learning design programme.
This programme enables Paryz Education to expand its training offerings by combining certified trainers, digital learning tools, and practical courses that address the needs of employers. Occupational safety and health (OSH) remains at the heart of this work, while new training areas are being developed to support enterprises in an ever-changing business landscape.
Spread over six weeks of online learning, followed by a five-day workshop in Almaty from 7 to 11 July 2026, the programme guided participants through the entire process of creating a professional training service, from identifying client needs and defining learning objectives, to designing online courses, facilitating webinars, and marketing training products. By the end of the programme, participants had developed course concepts, business plans, communication strategies, and digital learning materials, all of which are ready for delivery via Paryz Education's new online learning platform.

This initiative is part of an ongoing partnership between the ILO Bureau for Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP), the Employers' Activities Programme of the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO), and Paryz, aiming to bolster employers' organisations as providers of top-tier services to their members.
This collaboration began in 2024 with the launch of the Essentials of Occupational Safety and Health programme by ACT/EMP, ITCILO, the Kazakhstani Minister of Labour, and the President of Paryz. This initiative led to the establishment of Paryz Education, the organisation's dedicated training division. Since then, more than 80 trainers and staff have participated in capacity-building programmes, and trade union representatives have also joined the OSH training. This demonstrates a shared national commitment to safer and healthier workplaces.

In April 2026, a digital learning platform developed with ITCILO support was launched to coincide with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. Alongside a growing pool of certified trainers and the prospect of co-certification with the International Training Centre of the ILO, the platform establishes a robust foundation for delivering top-tier training in occupational safety and health, enabling Paryz Education to branch out into other areas of interest to employers.
