Kazakh government approves blueprint for youth policy till 2020
The Kazakh government approved a blueprint for state youth policy till 2020 at a meeting today.

"The blueprint is oriented towards the new principles of social policy which is based not only on state guarantees, but also on the personal responsibility of everyone," Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov, the Kazakh education and science minister, said at the meeting.
He noted that the state is taking measures aimed at providing jobs for young people, re-educating and re-training them, providing them with affordable housing, and subsidizing their travel and food.
"It is imperative that the principles of pragmatism be observed, so that each investment in young people should be repayable and profitable. And investments in young people should be efficient," the minister emphasized.
