ILO/SWHAP Road Safety and Wellness Camp
13 December 2014: The ILO, together with SWHAP (Swedish Workplace HIV/AIDS Programme) and Scania (a global company) organized wellness camp at at Korona stop over, about 70 km from Harare along the Masvingo - Beitbridge Highway (linking Zimbabwe to South Africa).

Korona is a popular stop-over for truckers and other motorists. Under this wellness camp, over 182 people received information and took tests for blood pressure; blood sugar; HIV; and cholesterol. The event involved a number of other partners: the National AIDS Council, ZAPSO - as service provider for wellness tests, the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
The event was part of a campaign being organized by the ILO and its partners under the VCT@Work initiative that aims to provide HIV voluntary counselling and testing to 5 million workers by 2015.
