ILO Spain and Campus CEOE will work together to promote social sustainability in business
The Director of the ILO Office for Spain, Félix Peinado, and the Director General of CEOE Campus, Mª Teresa Gómez Condado, have signed a collaboration agreement for this purpose.

The aim of the collaboration is to promote companies social sustainability in the training programmes developed by CEOE Campus for business managers. Specifically, within the framework of this agreement, the ILO is collaborating in the development and delivery of the "Diploma de Transformación Sostenible" programme, which will begin its third edition in September. A programme created by CEOE Campus, in collaboration with AENOR, DIRSE, the Spanish Global Deal Network, Fundación SERES and SpainNab.
At the signing ceremony, Félix Peinado pointed out that "decent work is the driving force behind sustainable development and we at the ILO dedicate all our efforts to its promotion. Changes in the labour market require training in sustainability and this is where we are helping companies from an international perspective".
Mª Teresa Gómez, for her part, pointed out that "we want to support companies in their strategy for sustainability, especially in a stage marked by the regulations that are coming and will come from the EU. This is an important stage for achieving the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.
The Diploma in Sustainable Transformation is aimed at executives, managers and professionals who want to lead in a context where companies need professionals with a sustainable vision. It offers participants a systemic vision of how sustainability can be translated into tangible economic, environmental and social results. The Diploma has a duration of 80 hours, combining academic training, success stories and real company experiences told first-hand by their protagonists.
Within this training action, the ILO will present, among other tools, the content and scope of the Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (MNE Declaration), which is the ILO instrument that provides direct guidance to enterprises with regard to social policy and inclusive, responsible and sustainable practices in the workplace.
CEOE Campus is CEOE's Business School, which aims to help companies grow through people, through disruptive methodologies, the best academic partners and experts in each area of action: sustainability, leadership and diversity, digitalisation, healthy business and European funds, among others.
