The ILO to publish the Global Wage Report 2014-2015

GENEVA – The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch the Global Wage Report 2014-2015 on Friday, 5 December.
Published every two years, the report reviews the main trends in wages in developed, emerging and developing countries.
The report also analyses wage inequality in the labour market and in household income. Finally, it contains a series of policy proposals, including how to address inequalities and discrimination in the labour market.
Embargoed electronic copies of the report, executive summary and supporting media material – including videos and interactive charts – can be requested by journalists by contacting [email protected], or +4122/799-7912. These will be sent when the embargoed report is available.
For Geneva correspondents: A press briefing by Sandra Polaski, ILO Deputy Director-General for Policy and Patrick Belser, Senior ILO Economist will be held, under embargo, on Thursday 4 December at 10:00 a.m. in press room 3 at the Palais des Nations.
