ILO to present Non-Standard Forms of Employment at 10th Meeting of Caribbean Ministers of Labour

Report covers temporary work, part-time work, temporary agency work and subcontracting, dependent self-employment and disguised employment relationships.

Port of Spain (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization is to present its first comprehensive report on non-standard forms of employment (NSE), including temporary work, part-time work, temporary agency work and subcontracting, dependent self-employment and disguised employment relationships.

The event will unfold in three stages:
  1. Presentation by Ms Mariya Aleksynska, Labour Economist, ILO Headquarters Geneva
  2. Comments by Dr Marshall Hall, Chairman, Labour Market Reform Commission, Jamaica
  3. General discussions and comments
