The ILO’s new Director-General, Gilbert F. Houngbo, will present his first report to the Organization’s Governing Body meeting, which opens on October 31.
GENEVA (ILO News) – The Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO) will hold its 346th Session, starting on Monday 31 October 2022.
It will be first Governing Body meeting attended by the new ILO Director-General, Gilbert F. Houngbo, who took up office on 1 October 2022.
The Director-General will present his report to the Governing Body members, including developments related to the Global Coalition for Social Justice.
Also on the agenda will be issues arising from the 110th Session (2022) of the International Labour Conference concerning decent work and the social and solidarity economy and the inclusion of a safe and healthy working environment in the ILO’s framework of fundamental principles and rights at work.
