ILO- Cinterfor and Fundae sign collaboration agreement in Madrid
The Director of the ILO Office for Spain, Félix Peinado, took part in the signing of the collaboration agreement between ILO-Cinterfor and the State Foundation for Training and Employment (FUNDAE), which took place in Madrid on 19 June 2023.

The agreement was signed by the Director of ILO-Cinterfor, Anne Caroline Posthuma, and the Director of FUNDAE, Antonio de Luis Acevedo, and the Director of the Spanish Public Employment Service (SEPE), Gerardo Gutiérrez, also participated in the event. The agreement aims to deepen relations and knowledge between the two institutions and in particular to develop actions to promote social dialogue in the detection of training needs, occupations and skills and the energy transition, and its effect on the actions and management of training.
In their speeches, both the Director of the ILO Office for Spain and the Director of the SEPE also mentioned the recent creation of the Ibero-American Network of Public Employment Services, made up of 10 countries and open to the 22 countries of the region, which aims to share experiences, knowledge, tools and good practices to improve the services provided by the Public Employment Services to workers, the unemployed and companies. The ILO participates in this Network as an observer member.
