ILO-Brussels at “Sustainable fashion action learning” day in Antwerp
ILO-Brussels contributed to a “Sustainable Fashion Action Learning” event organized on 25 August by the Antwerp-based International Centre for Action Learning on Business Ethics and Sustainability (ITCCO).

The ILO-Brussels office contributed to the event “Sustainable Fashion Action Learning”, organized on 25 August by the Antwerp-based International Centre for Action Learning on Business Ethics and Sustainability affiliated to UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
The training, organized in cooperation with the Antwerp Management School and the Flanders Fashion Institute, offered an insight into global supply chains and an overview of on-going national and international sustainability discussions. It ended with a tour of sustainable fashion initiatives in Antwerp.
ILO-Brussels’ Programme and Operations Officer, Audrey Le Guével, presented the ILO’s work in the ready-made garment sector and in particular in Bangladesh, where the ILO, together with the government and social partners, and in cooperation with the European Union, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Canada strives to improve the working conditions in that sector.
