ILO and CoESL to host clinic on challenges and solutions for Caribbean MSMEs in times of COVID-19

(4 May 2020) As the COVID-19 pandemic wreaks havoc on businesses, the ILO Office for the Caribbean and the Caribbean Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Livelihoods (CoESL) will collaborate for a regional online clinic to help Caribbean micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) cope with the crisis on 7th May 2020 at 11.00 am Eastern Caribbean Time.

Selected entrepreneurs from different countries and sectors will share perspectives on how MSMEs across the Caribbean are faring during the pandemic. They will also discuss their main challenges, as well as possible solutions with peers and the general audience. The results of the discussion will contribute to inform future ILO policy recommendations. Media are invited to attend this event.

This clinic discussion will feed into the ILO’s #ResilientWithDecentWork / #Nocontagiemoselempleo virtual roundtable on 13 May 2020, which is dedicated to MSMEs and policy responses.
