Highlights from the 112th International Labour Conference
The annual conference of the International Labour Organization’s Member States concluded with progress towards regulating biohazards, and a review of both working conditions in the care sector and the key role of fundamental principles and rights in a rapidly changing world of work. The Inaugural Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice took place and was marked by speeches from the Presidents of Brazil and Nepal, who highlighted the critical need for greater social justice to ensure a peaceful world.
