Global Coalition for Social Justice Annual Forum to focus on turning global commitments into action
The Global Coalition for Social Justice will convene its 2026 Annual Forum, bringing together governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, international and regional organizations, development banks, the private sector, academia and civil society to strengthen collective action for social justice and decent work.

GENEVA (ILO News) – The two-day virtual 2026 Forum will focus in particular on how Coalition partners are translating international commitments into action, with particular attention to the Coalition’s contribution to the implementation of the Doha Political Declaration, adopted at the Second World Summit for Social Development, and to advancing the objectives of the UN80 Initiative.
Participation
The Forum will open with addresses by ILO Director-General Gilbert F. Houngbo, representatives of the Coalition’s Coordinating Group, and other high-level leaders, including:
- Mr Luiz Marinho, Minister of Labour and Employment of Brazil
- Mr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Labour and Employment of India
- Ms Jaqueline Mugo, President of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE)
- Mr Luc Triangle, General Secretary, International Trade Union Confederation
