First webinar on “Eradicating Forced Labour from Global Supply Chains”

Already 70 persons, including CSR specialists, managers, researchers and investors, have registered to participate to the first webinar organized by the ILO on eradicating forced labour from global supply chains.

From the Special Action Programme to combat forced labour, Beate Andrees and Aurélie Hauchère Vuong, will give practical guidance for business to identify, prevent and eliminate forced labour and trafficking along supply chains, including contractors and suppliers, providing some good examples of corporate initiatives around the world. After their presentation, they will answer to questions from registered participants.

This webinar is part of a series of joint webinars with the Global Compact, through which the ILO is providing technical support on Labour Standards and Principles to Global Compact participants. The ILO Helpdesk for Business will offer further follow-up for companies with more questions as well as direct access to the specific tools on the topic covered during the webinar.
