The ILO’s campaign for the 2017 World Day for Safety and Health at Work focuses on the critical need for countries to improve their capacity to collect and utilize reliable OSH data.

To support member States in the improvement of their capacity to collect and utilize reliable OSH data, the ILO produced a Toolbox with relevant resources and a set of fact sheets. The factsheets given below summarize the key elements of a national system for recording and notification of occupational accidents and diseases, discuss other complementary methods and sources of OSH data and highlight the challenges in this field.
