Dongguan Technical College of China and Lao Women Training Center Forge Partnership under “South-South Cooperation” Skill Development Network
In a landmark collaboration facilitated by the ILO/China Partnership Programme, Dongguan Technical College of China and the Lao Women Training Center officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) via a video conference on March 6, 2024.
This milestone achievement marks a pivotal step forward in the realms of Sino-Lao vocational and technical education cooperation and the South-South Cooperation Skills Development Network. Under the terms of the collaboration, both institutions are committed to enhancing cooperation in various areas, with a specific emphasis on IT, Cooking and Tailoring.
The agreement underscores a mutual dedication to fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise, thereby contributing significantly to the overall enhancement of skills development. This collaboration not only solidifies bilateral cooperation but also paves the way for future collaborations within the South-South Cooperation framework.
Mr. Tian Feng, Project manager of the ILO/China Partnership Programme, Ms. Phanthavong Keovanlay, National Project Coordinator in Lao PDR, Mr. Guo Chunlei, President of the Dongguan Technician College, Sanh Xayaseng, Director of Lao Women Training Center and other members of the cooperation teams of the two sides attended the signing ceremony.
