KARACHI (ILO News): Monday 21st May 2018 marked the first day for the disbursement of additional benefits voluntarily provided by KiK Textillen, the main buyer from Ali Enterprises following the 2012 fatal factory fire. More than 200 beneficiaries received their first payment of the additional employment injury benefits which will be provided as lifetime benefits on a regular basis through the Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI). The funds will be disbursed through the appointed MCB Bank in Karachi.
