Director of ILO Office for Türkiye visited the HQ of the TÜRK-İŞ

On December 7, 2023 Yasser Ahmed Hassan, Director of the ILO Office for Türkiye, visited the headquarters of the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions (TÜRK-İŞ). TÜRK-İŞ President Mr. Ergün Atalay welcomed Mr. Hassan and extended congratulations on his new assignment. Following an introduction to TÜRK-İŞ and its activities, Mr. Atalay briefed Mr. Hassan on the challenges related to freedom of association and ensuring occupational safety and health. Mr. Hassan expressed the commitment of the ILO Office for Türkiye to support TÜRK-İŞ in alignment with its mandate to promote fundamental rights and principles at work.
