Cooperation of the ILO and tripartite partners of Tajikistan
Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Emin Sanginzoda and Director of Regional Bureau of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for Europe and Central Asia Heinz Koller was held on June 23 in Dushanbe.

The meeting was attended by the Director of ILO Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Dimitrina Dimitrova and the ILO Coordinator in Tajikistan Sobir Aminov.
The sides discussed the results of joint projects that have been implemented in Tajikistan in the period from 2002 - 2014, and plans outlined in the Programme of cooperation between the tripartite partners of Tajikistan and the ILO on decent work for 2015-2017. The programme covers such priorities as improving the capacity of the tripartite partners, the development of decent employment opportunities of men and women, including returning labor migrants, improvement of working conditions and the extension of social protection.
Deputy Minister noted that Tajikistan, as a member of the ILO since 1993, has been and remains committed to the norms and principles of the organization. «The country has to date ratified 50 ILO Conventions, which came into force», - noted E. Sanginzoda.
The sides expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, on the eve of the 100 anniversary of the ILO, which will be celebrated in 2019.
