Child Labour entrenched in Lebanon’s deprived regions, says ILO-USJ research
Deteriorating socio-economic conditions and school drop outs have led to a nationwide increase in child labour, particularly in the North and Beqaa, according to two studies launched by the International Labour Organization and the Université Saint Joseph on Wednesday (February 15) at UNESCO Palace.
