Belgian labour council urges government to ratify ILO Convention concerning decent work for domestic workers

The Belgian National Labour Council urged the Belgian government to promptly ratify ILO Convention No. 189 in a joint opinion published on 18 December 2012. The Belgian government already committed itself to ratify the Convention Concerning Decent Work for Domestic Workers No. 189. Belgium could play a crucial role becoming one of the first European countries to ratify the Convention, after Italy, who has already ratified.
