Azerbaijan to toughen measures in the fight against child labour
On October 1, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs signed a joint action plan to eliminate child labour drafted within the framework of the EU twinning project for 2013-2015.

Signatures under the document were put by Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Fizuli Alekberov and the state committee’s chair, Khidzhran Guseinova.
In January 2012 Azerbaijan’s social partners also set up a national tripartite social council to promote safe and healthy working conditions, Fizuli Alekberov said.
