Australia ratifies the Protocol to the Forced Labour Convention

On 31 March 2022, Australia deposited with the ILO the instrument of ratification of the Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930.
Australia is the fifty-ninth member State of the ILO to have ratified the Protocol. The Protocol will enter into force for Australia on 31 March 2023, one year after its ratification.
