38th General Council Session of the African Regional Labour Administration Centre (ARLAC)

A Senior Labour Administration/Inspection Specialist from LAB/ADMIN (Mr. Ludek Rychly) gave a presentation to the 38th Session of the ARLAC General Council on the ILO's current strategy on labour administration and inspection.

His presentation was part of a panel on the role of labour administration in the field of social protection, in preparation for an upcoming discussion on this topic at the June 2012 International Labour Conference in Geneva.

ARLAC is a training centre based in Harare, Zimbabwe that provides instruction for labour administration officials from its 19 member countries (predominantly Anglophone Africa). The Centre also provides consultancy and advisory services, undertakes research and publishes training materials in the area of labour administration.
