Moving to safe and fair recruitment practices in Pakistan

Connecting prospective migrant workers in sending countries with employers at the destination is primarily facilitated by recruitment agencies in Pakistan. Companies that invest in fair and ethical business practices are likely to experience positive results in terms of increased customers and investor trust, which can help building the reputation. With a view to promote ethical and fair recruitment practices, the ILO-REFRAME project engaged with a group of recruitment agencies and advocated on fair and ethical recruitment practices to reduce exploitation and enhance the migrant workers’ protection. The video features the rewarding experience of Pakistani recruitment agency, provision of inclusive and fair recruitment practices and the contentment voiced by its clients, as source of inspiration for other recruitment agencies to promote fair recruitment of migrant workers in Pakistan.
