Manage psychosocial risks to prevent work-related stress

Stress at work is not an inevitability. Causes of work-related stress such as excessive job demands, lack of control over work and work-life balance, need to be incorporated into a risk management process and treated like any other workplace risks to protect workers’ health and wellbeing says Valentina Forastieri, Senior specialist on Occupational Health at the ILO.
