The project was focused on fostering the alignment of the national system of labour inspection with the ILO Conventions 81 and 129, especially in what concerns the recruitment, training and powers of labour inspectors.

Labour Inspection staff competencies have also been upgraded, through tailor-made trainings.

The development of the SLS institutional communication campaign has been supported.
