Indonesian OSH Festival: Generation – Safety and Health
The video captures highlights of the OSH Festival titled “Generation Safe and Healty”, organized by the ILO to commemorate the Wold Day for Safety and Health which falls on 28 April 2018.
Funding is provided by the United States Department of Labor under cooperative agreement number IL-26690-14-75-K-11. One hundred percentage of the total costs of the project or program is financed with Federal funds, for a total of 11,443,156 dollars.
This OSH Festival is part of the joint global campaign aimed to accelerate action to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 8.8 promoting labour rights and promoting safe and secure working environments for all workers by 2030.
The OSH Festival is conducted by the ILO through its OSH project in Indonesia named ‘SafeYouth@Work’. Funded by the United States Department of Labour (USDOL), the project which supports the Government of Indonesia and its social partners to promote OSH for young workers, including by adapting its OSH legislation and policies to the requirements of the ILO Promotional Framework for OSH Convention (Convention No. 187) ratified by Indonesia in August 2015.
