ILO Director-General elect: We need social and political cohesion in our world today

Interviewed after his election on 25 march 2022, ILO Director-General Gilbert Houngbo highlights the need to ensure that economic progress is equitably distributed among the different segments of society. The ILO Governing Body has elected Gilbert F. Houngbo as the Organization’s 11th Director-General, who will take office in October 2022.
