ILO's Director-General opens 103rd Session of the International Labour Conference

Addressing more than 3,000 representatives of governments, employers and workers from 156 countries, ILO Director-General, Guy Ryder, officially opened the 103rd session of the International Labour Conference. Ryder urged delegates to place jobs at the front and centre of discussions, and called for strengthened actions to end forced labour. The ILO's Head also stressed the need to tackle the unacceptable treatment and abuse to which too many migrant workers are exposed worldwide.
