ILO Global Report on Equality at Work 2011: Statements by the ILO's Director-General Juan Somavia and UN Women's Executive Director Michelle Bachelet

ILO's Director-General, Juan Somavia, opened the Global Report Panel Discussion "Equality at work: the continuing challenge" at the 100th International Labour Conference. Speaking as a special guest on the panel, the Executive Director of UN Women, Michelle Bachelet, called for a stronger commitment from governments, employers and workers to eliminate gender discrimination in the labour market.
